My penname is CousinKitchen and I am one of the authors of the story Subarashii Sannin.
This particular story is mainly about everything and nothing. It takes place in the very distant future. The Earth has
been destroyed and civilization as we know it has been dispersed throughout the universe.
As the story begins we follow a member of the Universal Police, Kate Fibratore. She is the daughter of the Head of the
Universal Police and is probably the best officer/medic, if not the most pampered, they have. Yes, I did say medic.
During her career as a trainer, Kate teaches Jamie Wakai who is a promising prodigy that is, very much, accident prone.
It is when the two some how wind up together on an experimental warship that our story begins.
The Athena 4000 is the Universal Police's newest and latest model in warship technology and probably the most top secret
of their plans. Kate, being as skillful as she is, is asked to captain this ship in hopes to train a crew to specialize in
manning it. However, there is a reason for this ship that even Kate isn't privy to which causes both her and Jamie to pilot
it by themselves...unfortuantely the entire Universal Police thinks of them as traitors and thieves and begins hunting them
to get their ship back.
Due to a sequence of events, Kate and Jamie are soon joined by a remarkably able pilot Beth Zyniker. Neither Kate and
Jamie know anything of this woman when they allow her on board, but since both of them aren't really what you would call pilots
they really have no say in the matter.
Chaos and confusion and many incidents follow. The crew of the "Satan", the new name of the Athena 4000, grows
and enimies make themselves known. And amidst all of this the creature that haunts the halls of the ship, which the crew calls
Mindy, causes them more trouble than they already have.
How does it all end up? You'll just have to read to find out...
